En 1959 la estación del metro de Notting Hill fue remodelada y algunos lugares fueron sellados cuando se instalaron las nuevas escaleras.

Recientemente trabajos en la estación han redescubierto estos túneles encontrando una maravillosa capsula del tiempo con posters de la época.
